Terms of Service
Effective date: July 24, 2026

By creating an account, accessing Obano, starting a trial or using paid functionality, you agree to these Terms. Obano is operated by Bogdan Kiselev.

- Operator type: Sole trader / self-employed individual
- Country: Portugal
- Business address: Rua do Lobito 296, 1B, 2775-228 Parede, Portugal

2. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement, have authority to act for your business, provide accurate details, and use Obano lawfully.
3. Service description
Obano currently provides: an appointment calendar, clients, services, team members, availability, public booking, approval workflows, reminders, cancellation, rescheduling, branding, secure appointment links and subscription management. Features may evolve.
4. Obano's role
Obano provides software infrastructure. Obano is not the business offering the appointment, the professional performing the service, the employer of a listed team member, a healthcare provider or a party to the underlying service contract. Obano is not responsible for the quality or legality of the booked service. Businesses remain responsible for qualifications, licensing, service delivery, prices charged to clients, client refunds, taxes related to their services, appointment disputes, cancellation policies and compliance with industry regulations.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your credentials, and activity under your account. Report unauthorized access promptly.
6. Team members
Businesses are responsible for permission to publish team-member profiles, the accuracy of those profiles, availability, rights to images and lawful processing of team-member data.
7. Client data
Businesses must collect client data lawfully, provide required notices, avoid unnecessary sensitive information, honor privacy rights, use reminders lawfully and maintain accurate appointment records.
8. Public booking
Availability depends on business configuration. Bookings may be instant or approval-based. Confirmation status matters. Obano does not guarantee that a business will accept or fulfill a booking. End clients should contact the business for service questions.
9. Reminders
Reminders are provided as a convenience. Email delivery is not guaranteed. Delays, spam filtering or invalid contact details may prevent delivery. Reminders do not replace the client's responsibility to track appointments.
10. Acceptable use
You must not engage in unlawful use, fraud, spam, harassment, malware, security attacks, scraping, bypassing access controls, reverse engineering where legally restrictable, infringing content, impersonation, abusive booking activity, unauthorized access to another business, use for prohibited products or services, or attempts to manipulate subscriptions or Paddle events.
11. User content
Businesses retain rights to their uploaded content and business data. You grant Obano a limited license necessary to host, process, display, transmit, back up and deliver the service. You confirm you have rights to logos, photos, descriptions, team profiles and social links you upload.
12. Trial
- The trial lasts 7 days.
- Paddle Checkout collects a payment method.
- No subscription charge is taken at trial start.
- Trial eligibility may be limited to one trial per business or account.
- You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first recurring charge.
- Trial access may end when the trial expires.
13. Subscription
- Plan name: Obano Early Access.
- Price: €9.99/month.
- Up to 5 active team members.
- Automatic monthly renewal.
- Applicable taxes may apply.
- Paddle manages billing.
- Pricing may change for future billing periods with appropriate notice.
- The Early access price is not guaranteed forever. No lifetime price is promised.
14. Paddle as Merchant of Record
Paddle is the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for subscription purchases. The payment transaction is processed by Paddle, which calculates and collects applicable taxes, issues invoices and receipts and provides buyer-facing billing tools. Paddle's terms and privacy documentation apply to the billing transaction.
15. Payment failure
Paddle may retry failed payments. Obano may show a payment issue. Access may continue temporarily during recovery and may later be paused or restricted. Data is not immediately deleted solely due to a failed payment.
16. Cancellation
Cancellation is managed through the Paddle Customer Portal. It normally applies at the end of the current billing period, and access normally continues until that period ends. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund prior charges. Deleting an Obano account does not automatically cancel Paddle billing unless explicitly processed together — please cancel your subscription before requesting account deletion.
17. Refunds
See the Refund Policy. Completed charges are not automatically refunded upon cancellation. Refund requests are considered through Paddle's process and applicable law. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
18. Suspension and blocking
Obano may suspend or block access for serious breach, abuse, fraud, security risk, prohibited activity, nonpayment or legal requirements. Data is generally preserved for a reasonable period. Blocking does not automatically cancel a Paddle subscription; users remain responsible for managing billing where applicable.
19. Service availability
Obano aims to provide reliable service. Outages and maintenance may occur, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Features may change, with reasonable notice for material changes.
20. Third-party services
Obano relies on Paddle, Supabase, Google OAuth, email delivery providers and external business links. Third-party services may have separate terms.
21. Intellectual property
Obano software, branding, design and platform content belong to the operator or licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Obano IP.
22. Feedback
The operator may use feedback to improve Obano without an obligation to compensate, while not claiming ownership of unrelated user IP.
23. Disclaimers
Subject to mandatory law, Obano is provided on an as-available basis. Obano does not guarantee appointment attendance, revenue or reminder delivery, is not responsible for the quality of services provided by businesses, and businesses are responsible for professional and legal compliance.
24. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded.
25. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, business users agree to indemnify the operator against third-party claims arising from unlawful use of the service, the business's own services, user content, privacy-law breaches caused by the business, and third-party claims resulting from the business's conduct.
26. Termination
You may stop using Obano and request deletion. Product access may end, data access may be limited, lawful retention may continue and subscription cancellation must be handled separately through Paddle.
27. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. This choice of law does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under the laws of the user's country of residence.
The courts of Portugal are the default jurisdiction for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights or prevent users from bringing proceedings in, or using dispute-resolution mechanisms available under, the mandatory applicable law of their country of residence.
28. Changes
These Terms may be updated. Material changes may be notified through Obano or by email.
